New subsidiary in Canada
Sylvain Robitaille leads new SCHOTTEL subsidiary in Canada
In February 2016, SCHOTTEL has opened a subsidiary in Canada in pursuing the companies plan to densify and extend the global network of subsidiaries. This ensures highest quality and customer proximity. Nils Moerkeseth, President of SCHOTTEL Inc, USA: “Due to continuing shipbuilding projects and expansion of our customer base in the region, we are pleased to announce the opening of a new sales office in Quebec. It will immediately serve the sales needs of current and future SCHOTTEL customers in Canada, the New England and the Great Lakes areas of the United States. Service and parts support will be coordinated through this office with parts and current service personnel being supplied by the SCHOTTEL Houma, LA office, until service personnel are employed in Quebec”.
Regional Sales Manager Sylvain Robitaille leads the office. He brings 15 plus years of industry experience with technical degrees in electrodynamics as well as in instrumentation and automation. Robitaille runs the gamut of experience from installation, project management and operations to marketing, business and design. He has worked extensively with worldwide shipyards, fleet operators, the Coast Guard and other government entities, as well as naval architects.
