Compact SCHOTTEL RudderPropellers for new Chinese e-tug

SCHOTTEL is to equip Guangzhou Port Group’s latest e-tug with two RudderPropellers type SRP 360 in the LE-Drive variant (“embedded L-Drive”). The new harbour tug has a length of about 37.9 metres and a beam of 10.5 metres and will be mainly used for berthing assistance, escorting and towing in the Port of Guangzhou, China.

Four new compact Damen ASD tugs with SCHOTTEL RudderPropellers

SCHOTTEL is to equip four new 1810-series ASD stock tugs from the Dutch Damen Group with the SCHOTTEL RudderPropeller type SRP 270. The new multi-purpose tugs will have a bollard pull of 30 tonnes each and ensure excellent manoeuvrability with a compact size of just 18.25 metres in length and a beam of 10.23 metres.

With this newest generation of compact tugs, Damen sets out to answer the needs of modern port operations, using proven technology such as the SRP.

SCHOTTEL: Groundbreaking ceremony for new logistics center in Dörth, Germany

SCHOTTEL GmbH is expanding its rudder propeller factory in Dörth by adding a logistics center measuring around 4,000 square meters. As the official ground-breaking ceremony was delayed, it has now taken place symbolically against the backdrop of the shell construction that has already begun. The total investment volume amounts to 9.5 million euros.

SCHOTTEL RudderPropeller for six new ASD tugs from Med Marine

SCHOTTEL is to equip six new ASD tugs of the Turkish Med Marine Group with the SCHOTTEL RudderPropeller (SRP). The new vessels will be built by Med Marine’s Ereğli Shipyard and will be available in 2025 to meet the constantly growing demand for Med Marine tugs.

SCHOTTEL RudderPropellers for five new WSA vessels

SCHOTTEL is to equip five new traffic safety vessels for the German Rhine Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSA) with electrically driven SCHOTTEL RudderPropellers. The Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany, has been commissioned with the construction of the modern multipurpose vessels following tenders submitted throughout Europe.
