The underlying software comprises a single platform for all standard hardware components. This provides a central tool for the configuration of input/output modules (I/Os), programmable logic controllers (PLC), networks and the graphical user interface. INTEGRATED AUTOMATION SYSTEM (IAS)

AutoControl

SCHOTTEL AutoControl makes it possible to automate on-board operations by actively controlling the individual components of the vessel. Thanks to simple plug-and-play capabilities, the system maps complex processes in a user-friendly manner.

For example, the IAS automatically controls the trim and heel of the vessel via the valve control of the ballast tanks.

POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (PMS)

PowerControl

The SCHOTTEL PowerControl system reliably controls the generation and distribution of electrical power on board. This ensures that sufficient power is available at all times for ship operation, especially for propulsion and manoeuvring. The efficient use of the generators is controlled according to demand and an automated blackout prevention avoids loss of power as far as possible or restores the power supply quickly in an emergency.
